The Italian soccer player Francesco Totti was not noted for his intellect.

He was once asked by an interviewer in TV whether he believed in the motto 'Carpe Diem' (seize the day).

"Sorry," he replied, "I don't speak English."

Messidona - Hand Of God 2

At 9 June 2007, Barcelona player Lionel Messi scored 2 goals in a match with Espanyol.

Messi's first goal appeared to be a legally headed ball and was allowed by the referee.
However, TV replays showed that Messi had steered the ball into the net with his hand.

We all saw immediately that it is similar to Maradona's legendary "Hand of God" goal at the 1986 FIFA World Cup.
When asked about the goal, Messi refused to say directly whether he had handled the ball, saying only, "My first goal does not matter now."
