We wonder who will replace him ??

Thierry Henry - Barcelona Megastar

Thierry Henry completed his move to Barcelona today.

Arsenal's fans is very sad losing thier captain and superstar.

Henry thanked Wenger, and indeed to Arsenal, for rescuing him from something he likened to a living hell if playing for Juventus can ever be considered that unpleasant.

At 29, Henry remains desperate to win the Champions League and he obviously believes his best chance of achieving that is in Barcelona.

Good luck , Henry ...

Messidona - Hand Of God 2

At 9 June 2007, Barcelona player Lionel Messi scored 2 goals in a match with Espanyol.

Messi's first goal appeared to be a legally headed ball and was allowed by the referee.
However, TV replays showed that Messi had steered the ball into the net with his hand.

We all saw immediately that it is similar to Maradona's legendary "Hand of God" goal at the 1986 FIFA World Cup.
When asked about the goal, Messi refused to say directly whether he had handled the ball, saying only, "My first goal does not matter now."

Hand Of God - Maradona

Former Argentina soccer star Diego Maradona has acknowledged on Argentine television in 2005 , that he struck the ball with his hand in the infamous "Hand of God" goal against England in the 1986 World Cup quarter-finals.

He said he was unable to reach the ball for a header because England's goalkeeper Peter Shilton "was very tall".

Maradona, who was Argentina's captain, said he quickly realized the referee allowed the goal but none of his teammates rushed to celebrate with him - themselves disbelieving.

Replays clearly showed the foul, but the goal helped propel Argentina to a 2-1 victory. Maradona also scored the second goal, which has been dubbed the "Feet of a God" goal, and which FIFA declared to be the greatest ever in World Cup competition.

Pele – The Black Pearl

Edson Arantes do Nascimento (Pele) was born in the slums the tiny village of Três Corações, but ended up in the stars.

"I was born for soccer, just as Beethoven was born for music," Pele once said.

Arrogant? Maybe, but then the Brazilian 'Black Pearl' had the medals to back up his claims.

The superstar that won three World Cups, scored an unrivalled 1,283 first-class goals and went on to become the single biggest icon in the history of the world's football.
Although his young age (17-year-old) ,he helped Brazil win the World Cup, Four years later, Brazil won again, but Pele's tournament was curtailed by a torn thigh muscle in his side's second game against Czechoslovakia.

After a titanic struggle with England in the group stages - a game often described as the 'real' final - Brazil progressed to a meeting with Italy in the actual final.

Pele scored a superb header and set up two more in a 4-1 romp which remains the single most impressive team performance at a World Cup.

It was also Pele's last in the tournament: he retired from international football in 1971.

In our days Pele is doing an ambassadorial role with football's world governing body, FIFA, and a position as Brazil's minister for sport.
