Dirty Handball Goal by France !!

French footballer Thierry Henry has admitted handling a ball before a crucial goal that sent his team to the World Cup at the expense of Ireland.

The goal drew the tournament qualifier in Saint Denis, outside Paris, 1-1.

Before the goal, Ireland had been leading 1-0 and the match was level on aggregate.

But in the first period of extra time, Henry twice handled the ball - stopping it going out of play, then controlling it - to set up his teammate William Gallas.

After the match, Barcelona striker Henry said Swedish referee Martin Hansson was the main culprit for not spotting the infringement.

The player said: "I will be honest, it was a handball. But I'm not the ref. I played it. The ref allowed it."

90+ Minute GOAL viva Higuain !!!

Gonzalo Higuaín was born in France while his father, professional Argentine footballer Jorge "El Pipa" Higuaín, was playing in the French Ligue 1.

Having left the country at the age of 10 months, he did not return to France until the 1998 FIFA World Cup.

Even though he does not speak French, he holds a French passport, because his father was naturalized French. But in January 2007, he successfully applied for the Argentine nationality. He is the younger brother of Federico Higuaín, who plays football for Independiente.

Gonzalo Higuain's stunning injury-time strike secured a remarkable 3-2 comeback win for Real Madrid at home to Getafe in the Primera Liga on Tuesday.

The Argentine striker levelled the scores at 1-1 in the first half and Guti equalised again in the 86th, just after Juan Albin had given the visitors the lead for a second time.

Ngog - New commer to Liverpool

Highly-rated teenage striker recently bought from Paris St Germain.

Ngog, who is the cousin of former Rangers and Newcastle defender Jean-Alain Boumsong, struggled in an under-performing Paris St Germain team last season but his pace could be well suited to the wealth of midfield talent the Reds possess.

Patrick Vieira - French Overall Player of All Times

Whe he played for Arsenal, Vieira engaged in many key individual battles to help his team, most notably against his fierce rival Roy Keane who possessed similar qualities to Vieira.

The roots of this rivalry were partly due to both players' competitiveness and also the growing rivalry between Arsenal and Manchester United who consistently battled each other for the Premier League title.

Watch the famous tunnel incident where there was an altercation between Roy Keane and Patrick Vieira before an arsenal-man utd game:

Drogba ? Anelka !

The French forward has entered Chelsea into bad atmosphere…

Monsieur Drogba , “the prince” thinks that he is better then Nicolas Anleka…

I think it will be better for Chelsea that the Ivory Coast goose will sign in another club.

Maybe Morinho is searching…???

Marco Materazzi - The Matrix

At last Marco Materazzi revealed Italian newspaper the fateful words he said to the French legend Zinedine Zidane in last season's World Cup final.
'Zizou' said to Materazzi : "If you really want my shirt, you can have it after the match."

Materazzi responded : "I'd prefer your slut of a sister."

As we all know , Zidane turned and butted Materazzi full-force in the chest, getting a red card, and in bizarre way he ended his professional career.

Marco Materazzi later apologised, saying, "I have stepped over the line in the past and I apologise for that. I have matured."
