By 2014, Germany will have Kroos, Marin, Ozil, Khedira, together with the veteran Schweinsteiger in midfield. 


There are big expectations from Kroos. 


I hope he pulls through because Germany needs a good, creative CM , the best in the Bundesliga are mostly foreign (van der Vaart - Holland , Diego - Brazil , Ribery - France , Ze , etc).

His second goal he managed to chip the ball over Sattelmaier and into the net to complete his brace.

Ibrahim Afellay - Promising youngster

Twenty-two-year-old Ibrahim Afellay is considered to be one of the most exciting young talents in Dutch football.

A creative right-sided midfielder, his career has matured over the last five years at PSV Eindhoven, and he was one of the club's outstanding performers in their 2007/08 Eredivisie title triumph.

Afellay joined PSV from Utrecht amateur outfit USV Elinkwijk as did his friend and club-mate Ismaïl Aissati.
