Soldado - Born in Valencia

Valencia released Villa and Silva ... but Soldado stayed...

He has pretty good pace, good technique and smashing finish near the goal...

Hierro - El Gran Capitan

Fernando Hierro - one of the symbols of the spanish football.

He was the captain of Real Madrid and he was a great talent more than a decade ago.

Quitely , he leads the Spanish Football Federation’s as the  technical director, and he is training the U21 strong young team.

He always says that Spain has a big generation of technically very skilful and physically strong players , such as:

  • Fernando Torres
  •  David Villa
  • Xavi
  • Andres Iniesta.

He is a close friend of Guardiola - FCB manager.

90+ Minute GOAL viva Higuain !!!

Gonzalo Higuaín was born in France while his father, professional Argentine footballer Jorge "El Pipa" Higuaín, was playing in the French Ligue 1.

Having left the country at the age of 10 months, he did not return to France until the 1998 FIFA World Cup.

Even though he does not speak French, he holds a French passport, because his father was naturalized French. But in January 2007, he successfully applied for the Argentine nationality. He is the younger brother of Federico Higuaín, who plays football for Independiente.

Gonzalo Higuain's stunning injury-time strike secured a remarkable 3-2 comeback win for Real Madrid at home to Getafe in the Primera Liga on Tuesday.

The Argentine striker levelled the scores at 1-1 in the first half and Guti equalised again in the 86th, just after Juan Albin had given the visitors the lead for a second time.

Robben Is No. 1 !!!

The Dutch footballer Robben is one of the great players in Real Madrid.

Robben, born in Bedum on 23 January 1984, was not around to see those halcyon days of ‘Total football’ and was little more than a toddler when his current international manager spearheaded a memorable Dutch triumph at the 1988 European Championship.

However, since beginning his career with FC Groningen in November of 2000 and winning the club’s Player of the Year award while still just 17, the winger has set about making history all of his own.

King David Beckham

One of the greatest footballers of all time!

Beckham has 105 caps to his name but has found his place under threat from a host of younger right-sided players, not least Arsenal teenager Theo Walcott who scored a hat-trick against Croatia in Beckham's place in Zagreb.

Still, the former Manchester United and Real Madrid man is ready and willing to do anything in his power to help manager Fabio Capello - even if it means warming the bench.

Arjen Robben - The Dutchman

Robben is a terrific player for Real Madrid and Holland.

His game lacks consistency but on song, he is breath-taking.

The Spanish league owes its popularity to such exciting playmakers.

Just hope he carries on improving to attain the heights of such greats as Bergkamp, Giggs etc.

Luis Figo - A True Genius

Portugal’s greatest player ever.

Named FIFA player of the year in 2001, he has tallied 90 goals in 546 matches with Sporting, Barcelona, Real Madrid and Inter since turning pro in 1999.

Inter Milan confirmed last month that Luis Figo is sidelined indefinitely because of a broken leg.

Figo, 35, sustained a fractured right fibula on a hard tackle from Pavel Nedved during Sunday's 1-1 draw with Juventus.

We wish him good health.
