Ibrahim Afellay - Promising youngster

Twenty-two-year-old Ibrahim Afellay is considered to be one of the most exciting young talents in Dutch football.

A creative right-sided midfielder, his career has matured over the last five years at PSV Eindhoven, and he was one of the club's outstanding performers in their 2007/08 Eredivisie title triumph.

Afellay joined PSV from Utrecht amateur outfit USV Elinkwijk as did his friend and club-mate Ismaïl Aissati.

Philipp Degen - New player in Liverpool


Switzerland right-back Philipp Degen, 25, will make the move to Merseyside on a free transfer from German outfit Borussia Dortmund on July 1 when his current contract expires.

Having played in the Champions League, Uefa Cup and expected to feature for his country at Euro 2008, there’s no doubt Degen has plenty of experience. It remains to be seen, however, whether he will be a first-team regular for Liverpool or just necessary cover for Alvaro Arbeloa.

Robin Nelisse to Beitar Jerusalem

Beitar Jerusalem had showed interest in FC Utrecht striker – Nelisse.

Beitar is now at the top in the Israeli premier league.

There is no dought that this striker will add strength to them.
