Israeli past soccer player Avi Cohen was declared brain dead tonight by the medical team of Ichilov Hospital.Cohen, 54, was critically injured in a traffic accident in Ramat Gan on December 20.
It happened while he was riding his motorcycle and was hit by a Taxi.
Cohen's son, Tamir Cohen, is a midfielder for the Bolton Wanderers in the Premier League.
Tamir Cohen flew back to Israel after the accident to be by his father's bedside.
